We are lucky to have Room 7 as our buddy class this year. We started the day by heading down to the Tararua District Library which was really cool because it is book month in NZ at the moment. The really nice librarian, Mrs Price, talked to us heaps about how we can become better readers and what resources were available to us at the library. We got back to school and the big buddies worked alongside the little buddies to create a story using storybird. It is an online web tool to create stories and it has wicked images. We had a shared lunch - pikelets, chocolate crunch, watermelon, pizza just to name a few of the tasty morsels we munched on. We spent the afternoon spelling testing, hanging crocodiles and having FUN! Our buddy class rock!
