Step one: blow up the balloon and release the air. This helps to stretch and soften the latex making it easier to fill.
Step two: Strech the mouth of the balloon over the end of a funnel. Soft drink bottles are easier to collect and the top half of the bottle makes a good funnel substitute when working with a whole class of children. The ridges around the neck of the bottle also help to keep the balloon in place.
Step four: Pour the flour in to the funnle then push it in to the balloon fill it until it is the size of your fist. Once you have finnished filling the balloon decorate it with wool as the hair, googaly eyes, nose and mouth then you are finnished.
